Job summary

Plattsburgh Animal Hospital in Plattsburgh, NY is seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join our fast-paced, growth-minded team. You will diagnose and treat pets, work with a network of referring veterinarians, and participate in ongoing education to stay at the top of your field.

Qualifications

• DVM degree required and NY license to practice.
• 2+ years of experience in a veterinary hospital preferred.
• Internship training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries in pets (dogs and cats); treat surgically or medically.
• Collaborate with referring veterinarians within the veterinary ecosystem.
• Engage in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of the field.
• Advise animal owners on sanitation, feeding and general care to promote health.
