Job summary

First Solutions Group is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian (DVM or VMD) to join a state-of-the-art facility offering advanced imaging and a dedicated ICU. The role supports emergency and critical care in ATL, GA or Austin TX, with a base salary up to $200K and a sign-on bonus up to $45K.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary program.
• Active state veterinary license (or ability to obtain quickly).

Responsibilities

• Emergency and critical care
• Diagnostics and medical record keeping
• Evaluate, triage, and stabilize emergency cases
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, poisonings, trauma, respiratory distress, seizures, and other critical conditions
• Perform emergency procedures and surgeries when needed
• Manage hospitalized and ICU patients
• Monitor vital signs and adjust treatment plans based on patient condition
• Administer medications, blood products, fluids, and pain management protocols

Location:

Compensation:

Base salary up to $200K, based on experience
Sign-on bonus up to $45k (an extra sign on if you can start before November), with a clawback structure — happy to walk through the details on a call
Total comp all in can be up to $350k!!!

About the Team:

Join a state-of-the-art facility featuring 3 surgery suites, an in-house 64-slice CT, a dedicated internal medicine procedures room, endoscopy, a dedicated ER, and a dedicated ICU equipped with Snyder O2 cages and separate respiratory/GI/MDR isolation wards. Planned specialty services include emergency, internal medicine, critical care, and surgery. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Emergency and critical care
