Job summary

Thrive Austin East 7th Street is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Austin, Texas. You will provide comprehensive medical care for cats and dogs, including wellness visits, vaccines, and preventative care, in a hospital that emphasizes community and high-quality service.

  • State Veterinary Board license in good standing for the hiring state.
  • Active DEA license or eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality medical care for cats and dogs.
  • Perform wellness exams, vaccines, and preventive care.
  • Conduct routine surgeries and diagnostic imaging as needed.
  • Collaborate with team to deliver compassionate, client-focused care.

About You

You’ll get to know our clients and have an opportunity to care for their pets year after year. From delivering reliable care to preventative visits to being the first one they call when something just feels wrong.

Experience & Skills Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
  • State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

Monday – Friday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Saturday – 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
