Long hours, high caseloads, and limited control over schedule or structure can make it difficult to maintain both clinical quality and personal balance.

Our local family‑owned independent practice is building a different model.

We're currently seeking a Veterinarian who is interested in:

Who We Are

• Local family owned & operated, member of IVPA, 3 advanced general practices
• Dandy Acres Animal Hospital South Lyon
• Easthaven Animal Hospital Ann Arbor
• Shelter Bay Animal Hospital Novi
• Collaborative DVM team - 9 doctors in our existing hospitals, very high degree of collaboration/mentorship. DVMs can work between locations.
• Doctors and teams connected by constant live video between hospitals for collaboration
• Robust Staff - Surgical Specialists, Nursing Staff (two per doctor), Support Staff (cleaning, diagnostics), Front Desk Staff (scheduling, billing)
• Commitment to the highest standards of medical care. Constant upgrades to equipment, medical practices, and hospital facilities. Heavy focus on diagnostics.
• High tech hospital, integrated remote team of nurses and doctors dedicated to us for excellent collaboration and mentorship, as well as client care
• No commission based pay - no sales pitch to clients!
• Trifecta Medicine Mentality - Client Service, Patient Care, Hospital Team
• Owners/Management - local family of 4 - working around the clock to improve everything all the time!
• Generous and successful pet rescue program
• Schedule: Three 12 hour daytime shifts, 8am-8pm Mon‑Sun. No overnights. We plan to be open 6 days a week, with DVM schedule of 3 days on, 4 days off every week.
• Appointments every 30 minutes (per doctor) with a break in the middle of the day. Last appointment is an hour before close.
• Low tolerance for clients who don’t treat our team with respect and kindness

Pay/Benefits

• $130-140k pay package (115-120k salary plus another 15-20k in benefits). Open to discussion for experienced candidates.
• Covered License fees, VIN membership, CE, and Professional development assistance
• 20 days off paid between any-reason-PTO days, holidays, paid CE days
• $200 Health Insurance Premium Contribution monthly (worth about $3k in salary to you) - includes Vision/Dental insurance
