Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) is seeking a Pain Management Physical Therapist to support the New York Harbor VA Clinic. The position requires US citizenship and a PT degree with BLS. Two years of clinical PT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PT degree (MPT/DPT) and be licensed.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this VA-based role.
• Minimum of two years of clinical physical therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients for physical deficits and functional limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and strength.
• Apply data-driven techniques to tailor therapy programs.
• Recommend and evaluate adaptive equipment such as wheelchairs and braces.
• Provide specialized therapies including pelvic health, aquatic therapy, and wound care.
• Utilize therapeutic exercises, gait training, and neuromuscular re-education.
