Job summary

HMR Veterans Services is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager at their Veterans Village State Veterans Home in Florence, SC. This on-site, full-time position manages daily dietary operations to ensure high-quality nutritional care for veterans.

You will work with the Registered Dietitian, supervise staff, and help ensure compliance with regulations while promoting resident well-being. The role includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to contribute to exceptional veteran care in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited dietetic training program approved by the American Dietetic Association.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other healthcare setting.
• Current Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered Dietitian (RD) credential as required by state regulations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Commitment to providing exceptional service and care to our Veteran residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Dietitian in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the daily operations of the Dietary Department.
• Ensure nutritional services are provided in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary food service environment.
• Supervise dietary staff and support efficient department operations.
• Assist with menu planning, food management, diet therapy, and cost control initiatives.
• Promote quality resident care through safe and effective nutritional services.

Education
