Job summary

HMR Veterans Services in Anderson, SC is seeking a Pharmacist to support the Director of Pharmacy and ensure high-quality pharmaceutical services for residents. You will oversee medication handling to meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college.
• Current license or eligibility to practice in the state of the facility.
• Minimum two years hospital/clinical experience and at least one year of management experience.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted and to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Pharmacy in managing the facility’s Pharmaceutical Services.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing VA facilities.
• Oversee storage, labeling, distribution, and accuracy of medications.
• Maintain liaison with families, residents, and staff; ensure accurate drug information.
