Job summary

A Veteran-focused automotive training initiative is seeking skilled military Veterans for a career as a Kia Certified Service Technician. This program offers full-time employment through participating Kia retailers and a one-year apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Candidates will train in diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles, with access to tools, training, and potentially a GI Bill Monthly Housing Allowance during the program. Applicants should have an honorable discharge and mechanical experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a military Veteran with an Honorable Discharge.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in a technical or mechanical field is required.
• Must complete and pass drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles involving several components.
• Complete repair orders and warranty requests.
• Test drive vehicles and analyze components.
• Perform services and diagnostics while promoting customer experience.
