Kia America, Inc. is offering Veterans an opportunity to join the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) as a Certified Service Technician. This program emphasizes hands-on training and employment with Kia Retailers.

As a Technician, you'll diagnose and repair Kia vehicles, and all training needed for certification is provided. This veteran-focused apprenticeship includes a GI Bill Monthly Housing Allowance, making it an excellent pathway to a rewarding career.

Qualifications

• Must have honorable discharge from military.
• Valid driver's license required with a clean record.
• Experience in a technical/mechanical field is mandatory.
• Willingness to complete drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engines and electrical components.
• Complete repair orders per Kia policies and procedures.
• Test drive vehicles to analyze, diagnose, and repair.
• Communicate effectively with shop foreman and service advisor.
