Valor Healthcare is seeking a Physician (MD/DO) to join the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Denton, TX, serving veterans with comprehensive primary care. Board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required, with VA credentialing and active licensure in the U.S.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaborative practice with the PACT team, and adherence to VA guidelines, while offering a weekday schedule and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine degree (MD or DO).
• Board Certified/Eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine (IM or FM).
• Must be credentialed and remain in good standing through the Veterans Health Administration (VA).
• Current license to practice in the United States; unrestricted.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• DEA registration.
• Strong computer and EMR skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively diagnoses and treats our veterans.
• Examines patients for symptoms and performs comprehensive physical examinations.
• Develops and implements patient management plans with the PACT team.
• Orders and performs diagnostic tests.
• Prescribes medications and provides patient education on use.
• Counsels on medications, mental health, and health maintenance.
• Completes documentation within 24 hours of encounters.
• Collaborates with VA guidelines and coordinates co-managed care as needed.
