Job summary

Swords to Plowshares is hiring a Mental Health Clinician in San Francisco to provide therapeutic support, assess client needs, and develop care plans. This full-time, in-person role offers hourly pay and a collaborative team environment.

You will conduct assessments, diagnose mental health needs, and deliver evidence-based interventions while maintaining documentation and coordinating with other providers. Strong LMFT/LCSW/LPCC credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience providing psychotherapy and case management in complex behavioral health settings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities

• Assess mental health and emotional needs of clients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and therapy.
• Provide individual, group, and case management services.
• Respond to crises with safety planning and interventions.
• Document care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources.
