Job summary

Ellie Mental Health in North Richland Hills, TX, seeks licensed or pre-licensed therapists to provide trauma-focused, client-centered care for veterans and first responders. You will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain a robust caseload with strong administrative support and flexible scheduling.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in behavioral science and LPC/LCSW/LMFT licensure (or near licensure for associates).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral science (or related field) from an accredited institution.
• Pre-licensed candidates: LPC-Associates, LMSW, LMFT-Associates must have at least 2 years of experience and be within 6 months of full licensure.
• Fully licensed candidates: LPC, LCSW, LMFT with or without an existing caseload.

Responsibilities

• Complete diagnostic assessments and individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain a caseload of 27+ sessions per week (full-time).
• Provide high-quality, client-centered therapy services.
• Complete documentation according to company standards.
• Coordinate care with internal and external providers.

Who We’re Looking For: Licensed & Pre-Licensed Therapists

We are seeking passionate clinicians who are committed to increasing access to high-quality mental health care for veterans, active-duty service members, military families, and first responders. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with high-acuity trauma, understands the unique needs and culture of these populations, and is motivated to provide evidence-based, compassionate care to those who serve our communities and country.

Required Degrees & Licensure

• Master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field (from an accredited institution)
• Pre-licensed candidates: LPC-Associates, LMSW, LMFT-Associates
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience and be within 6 months of full licensure
• Fully licensed candidates: LPC, LCSW, LMFT (with or without an existing caseload)

Required Certifications / Experience

• 1–2 years of experience working with veterans and/or first responders
• Training in trauma-focused interventions (basic + advanced), such as:
• EMDR
• CPT
• TF-CBT
• ART
• Ability to develop and deliver clinical services tailored to military and first responder populations, including families and spouses

Preferred Certifications / Experience

• Advanced trauma training
• Experience treating PTSD and crisis response
• Additional evidence-based training (CPT, EMDR, TF-CBT, ART)
• Military Cultural Competency coursework (completed or willingness to complete)

Key Responsibilities

• Complete diagnostic assessments and individualized treatment plans
• Maintain a caseload of 27+ sessions/week (for full-time clinicians)
• Provide high-quality, client-centered therapy services
• Complete documentation according to company standards
• Coordinate care with internal and external providers and supports
• Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and required trainings
