Job summary

Matrix Providers Inc. seeks Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our provider network for general medical disability examinations for Veterans.

Exams are conducted as independent contractors with compensation based on volume; you maintain your own ADA/OSHA-compliant office and may have per diem opportunities.

Positions offer flexible scheduling and the ability to serve on a meaningful basis while maintaining your own practice setup in Alabama.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Active and unrestricted license in the state of examinations.
• Own ADA/OSHA compliant office.

Responsibilities

• Review medical and military records.
• Gather and synthesize clinical evidence.
• Conduct diagnostic testing as required.
• Interview Veterans to gather medical history.
• Perform face-to-face examinations.
• Develop medical opinions on whether a veteran's condition is service-related.
