Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to conduct veteran disability evaluations in a private-pay setting. In this role, you will focus on comprehensive assessments without medication management, offering flexible scheduling and strong work-life balance.

We value veterans’ service, interpersonal communication, and precise online documentation. Multiple engagement types are available, including part-time, contract, per diem, and full-time

Qualifications

• At least two years of clinical experience.
• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Experience completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and online documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compensation & pension disability evaluations for Veterans.
• No medication management or continuous care required.
• Tailor workload with flexible scheduling.
