Job summary

RDO Isuzu Trucks in Bismarck, North Dakota is seeking military veterans with mechanical experience who are interested in beginning a rewarding career as an Isuzu Service Technician Apprentice.

This program—the IVAP—is a U.S. Department of Labor and GI Bill‑approved Registered Apprenticeship designed to help veterans transition into the commercial truck industry, offering hands-on dealership experience and completion of apprenticeship and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Military or civilian technician experience preferred.
• Ability to pass the IVAP assessment and background checks.
• Clean driving record and readiness for hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Support service operations by assisting with inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of Isuzu vehicles.
• Learn on-the-job at the dealership and complete apprenticeship requirements.
• Collaborate with service teams to develop skills toward certification.
