Job summary

Scarff Isuzu Trucks of Auburn, Washington seeks Military Veterans with mechanical experience to begin a rewarding career as an Isuzu Service Technician Apprentice. This IVAP program is a U.S.

Department of Labor and GI Bill®-approved Registered Apprenticeship designed to help veterans transition into the commercial truck industry. Participants gain hands‑on dealership experience while pursuing apprenticeship and certification.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of military or civilian technician work experience.
• Hands‑on experience with diesel, automotive, heavy equipment, aircraft, generator, fleet maintenance, or related mechanical systems.
• Able to provide work references and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of Isuzu commercial vehicles.
• Work alongside dealership service teams and participate in on‑the‑job learning during apprenticeship.
• Complete program‑related apprenticeship requirements and assessments.
