Job summary
Rush Isuzu Trucks of Corpus Christi, Texas is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience to begin a rewarding career as an Isuzu Service Technician Apprentice through the IVAP program. Qualifications
- 3–5 years of military or civilian technician work experience.
- Hands‑on experience with diesel, automotive, heavy equipment, aircraft, generator, fleet maintenance, or related mechanical systems.
- Transitioning Service Member or U.S. Military Veteran status.
- Honorable military discharge or Commander’s Statement of Service.
- Ability to pass the IVAP technical assessment.
Responsibilities
- Support dealership service operations by assisting with inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of Isuzu commercial vehicles.
- Work alongside dealership service teams and complete program‑related apprenticeship requirements.
- Participate in on‑the‑job learning and skill development.
