TransWest Isuzu Trucks of Superior, Wisconsin is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience to begin a rewarding career as an Isuzu Service Technician Apprentice within the IVAP program.

The program is a U.S. Department of Labor and GI Bill‑approved Registered Apprenticeship designed to help Veterans transition into the commercial truck industry. It offers hands‑on dealership experience and guidance through apprenticeship and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Transitioning Service Member or U.S. Military Veteran status.
• 3–5 years of military or civilian technician work experience.
• Honorable military discharge or Commander's Statement of Service.
• Hands‑on experience with diesel, automotive, heavy equipment, aircraft, generator, fleet maintenance, or related mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• As an Isuzu Service Technician Apprentice, support dealership service operations by assisting with inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of Isuzu commercial vehicles.
• Work alongside dealership service teams and engage in on‑the‑job learning and apprenticeship requirements.
• Develop skills across diesel, automotive, heavy equipment, and related systems while progressing toward certification.
