Job summary

Chastang Isuzu Trucks of Houston, Texas is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience who are interested in starting a rewarding career as an Isuzu Service Technician Apprentice through the IVAP program.

IVAP is a U.S. Department of Labor and GI Bill‑approved Registered Apprenticeship designed to help Veterans transition into the commercial truck industry with hands‑on dealership experience and apprenticeship requirements completed along the way.

Qualifications

• Military veterans with mechanical experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of military or civilian technician work experience.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass IVAP assessment.
• Ability to complete dealership background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of Isuzu commercial vehicles.
• Work alongside dealership service teams and complete apprenticeship requirements.
