Job summary

Upscale Home Care is seeking a Veteran Caregiver to support veterans and seniors in their own homes, providing dignified non-medical companionship, personal care, and light housekeeping while respecting each client’s preferences and independence.

This role requires a high school diploma, about one year of caregiving experience, physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reliable transport, and flexible availability including evenings and weekends. Compensation is an hourly rate $18-$20.

• 1 year of caregiving experience (additional training provided).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and provide physical assistance.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to clients' homes.
• Availability to work variable schedules, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical companionship and social support to veterans and their families.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Engage in activities that stimulate the mind and body, such as puzzles, exercises, and outdoor activities.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
