Job summary

Qualifications

• Citizenship and eligibility per VA policy
• Six months of general experience or education/training in NA work
• English language proficiency required
• GS-3 to GS-5 progression with KSAs and supervision requirements
• Ability to perform nursing and personal care tasks under supervision

Responsibilities

• Provide Veteran care and perform clinical and technical procedures
• Assist in personal and nursing care activities for Veterans
• Attend rounds and discharge planning meetings as part of the care team
• Document care provided and respond to emergencies promptly
• Work schedule includes nights with rotating weekends and holidays
