Job summary

A participating Kia Retailer in Slidell, Louisiana, is seeking skilled military Veterans for the position of Kia Certified Service Technician. This full-time role offers an opportunity to join a unique apprenticeship program, designed specifically for Veterans, leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles' critical systems while providing excellent customer service. Qualified candidates must have an Honorable Discharge and relevant experience in technical or mechanical fields, along with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must have an Honorable Discharge.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Experience in a technical or mechanical field is required.
• Willingness to complete and pass drug screening and background checks is essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engine, transmission, and electrical components.
• Complete repair orders and warranty requests as per established policies.
• Test drive vehicles and analyze components using diagnostic equipment.
• Perform services and repairs timely, ensuring effective communication with the shop foreman.
