Job summary

A leading automotive apprenticeship program based in Chillicothe, Ohio, is looking for military veterans to begin their careers as Kia Certified Service Technicians. This full-time position offers a one-year competency-based apprenticeship, leading to certification in Kia service. Eligible veterans gain access to training, tools, and a monthly housing allowance through the GI Bill. Candidates must have an honorable discharge and a clean driving record. Prior experience in technical/mechanical fields is required.

Qualifications

• Must have an Honorable Discharge from military service.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Technical or mechanical field experience is necessary.
• Must pass drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair various Kia vehicle components.
• Complete repair orders and warranty requests.
• Test drive vehicles for problem analysis.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and foreman.
