What's the difference between Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care Hospitals?

VETCO VACCINATION CLINICS offer wellness exams, preventive vaccinations, medications, heartworm testing, and microchip insertion. No surgeries, emergencies, or sick visits. Clinics are located inside Petco retail locations and appointments help manage traffic.

VETCO TOTAL CARE HOSPITAL relief shifts include preventive care, diagnostics, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. You will partner with the medical director before shifts. Hospitals are equipped with advanced technology and on-site labs, with no overnights or emergency on-call. The appointment-based model helps manage traffic and ensures timely departure.

REQUIREMENTS

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license in good standing
• Appropriate state-specific licensing for all shift functions, including blood draws and vaccinations
• DEA license in good standing preferred for hospital shifts
• Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance and license defense policy
• Compliance with all local, state, and federal mandates
