There are two types of Vetco shifts:

Vetco Vaccination Clinics

Offer wellness exams, preventive vaccinations, microchipping, and heartworm testing. No surgeries or emergencies. Located inside Petco retail stores.

Vetco Total Care Hospitals

Include preventive care, diagnostics, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. Equipped with advanced technology and staffed by licensed personnel. No overnight or emergency on-call shifts.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license in good standing
• State-specific licensing for shift functions, including blood draws and vaccinations
• DEA license preferred for full-service hospital shifts
• Professional Liability Insurance and license defense policy
• Compliance with local, state, and federal mandates
