What's the difference between Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care Hospitals?

VETCO VACCINATION CLINICS offer wellness exams, preventive vaccinations, heartworm testing, and microchip insertion. No surgeries or emergency visits. Staff manage operations and transactions, helping to ensure pet safety. Clinics are located inside Petco stores. Appointments help manage traffic and ensure timely departures.

VETCO TOTAL CARE HOSPITAL relief shifts include preventive care, diagnostics, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. You will coordinate with the medical director to review case comfort levels. Hospitals are equipped with digital records, surgical suites, ultrasound, digital and dental X-ray, AI radiograph interpretation, and on-site labs. No overnight or emergency on-call shifts. The appointment-based model helps manage traffic and ensure timely departures.

REQUIREMENTS

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license in good standing
• Appropriate state-specific licensing for all shift functions, including blood draws and vaccinations
• DEA license in good standing preferred for full-service hospital shifts
• Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance and license defense policy
• Compliance with all local, state, and federal mandates
