Difference between Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care Hospitals:

• Vetco Vaccination Clinics: Offer wellness exams, vaccinations, medications, heartworm testing, and microchips. No surgeries or emergencies. Located inside Petco stores. Appointments help manage traffic.
• Vetco Total Care Hospitals: Include preventive care, diagnostics, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. Equipped with advanced technology and on-site labs. No overnights or emergency on-call. Partner with medical directors to review case comfort levels.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license in good standing
• State-specific licensing to perform all shift functions, including blood draws and vaccinations
• DEA license in good standing (preferred for full-service hospital relief shifts)
• Professional Liability Insurance and license defense policy
• Compliance with local, state, and federal mandates
