We have a variety of weekend and weekday hours available for selection. You determine your rate for each relief shift. What's the difference between Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care Hospitals?

VETCO VACCINATION CLINICS offer wellness exams, preventive vaccinations and medications, heartworm testing, and microchip insertion. No surgeries, emergencies, or sick visits. A trained staff manages operations, transactions, and pet restraint. Clinics are located inside Petco retail locations. Appointments help manage traffic and ensure timely departures.

VETCO TOTAL CARE HOSPITAL relief shifts include preventive care, diagnostics, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. You will partner with the medical director to review case comfort levels. Hospitals are equipped with digital records, surgical suites, ultrasound, X-ray, AI radiograph interpretation, on-site labs, and licensed staff. No overnights or emergency on-call. The appointment-based model ensures timely exits.

REQUIREMENTS

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license in good standing
• State-specific licensing to perform all shift functions, including blood draws and vaccines
• DEA license in good standing preferred for full-service hospital relief shifts
• Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance and license defense policy
• Compliance with all local, state, and federal mandates
