What’s the difference between Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care Hospitals?

Vetco Vaccination Clinics offer wellness exams, vaccinations, medications, heartworm testing, and microchip insertion. No surgeries, emergencies, or sick visits. Staff run operations, transactions, and help safely restrain pets. Clinics are located inside Petco stores. Appointments help manage traffic and ensure timely departures.

Vetco Total Care Hospitals include preventive care, diagnostics, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. You will coordinate with the medical director to review case comfort levels. Hospitals feature digital records, surgical suites, ultrasound, X-ray, AI radiograph interpretation, and on-site labs. No overnight stays or emergency on-call. The appointment-based model helps manage traffic and timely departures.

REQUIREMENTS

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license in good standing
• Appropriate state licensing for all shift functions, including blood draws and vaccinations
• DEA license in good standing preferred for full-service hospital shifts
• Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance and license defense policy
• Compliance with all local, state, and federal mandates
