Differences between Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care Hospitals:

• Vetco Vaccination Clinics: Offer wellness exams, preventive vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchipping; no surgeries or emergency visits; located inside Petco stores.
• Vetco Total Care Hospitals: Include preventive care, diagnostics, outpatient surgeries, dental procedures; equipped with advanced technology; no overnight or emergency on-call shifts.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license in good standing
• State-specific licensing to perform all shift functions, including blood draws and vaccinations
• DEA license in good standing (preferred for full-service hospital shifts)
• Professional Liability Insurance and license defense policy
• Compliance with all local, state, and federal mandates
