Difference between Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care Hospitals:

• Vaccination Clinics: wellness exams, vaccinations, medications, heartworm testing, microchipping; no surgeries or emergencies; located inside Petco; appointment management for timely service.
• Total Care Hospitals: preventive care, diagnostics, outpatient surgeries, dental procedures; equipped with advanced technology; no overnight or emergency on-call; appointment-based traffic management.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license in good standing
• State-specific licensing for all shift functions, including blood draws and vaccinations
• DEA license preferred for full-service hospital shifts
• Professional Liability Insurance and license defense policy
• Compliance with local, state, and federal mandates
