What’s the difference between Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care Hospitals?

Vetco Vaccination Clinics offer wellness exams, preventive vaccinations, medications, heartworm testing, and microchips. No surgeries, emergencies, or sick visits. Staff manage operations, transactions, and pet restraint. Clinics are inside Petco stores. Appointments help manage traffic and ensure timely departures.

Vetco Total Care Hospitals provide preventive care, diagnostics, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. You will collaborate with the medical director to review case comfort levels. Hospitals are equipped with digital records, surgical suites, ultrasound, digital and dental X-ray, Vetology AI, and on-site labs. No overnight or emergency on-call shifts. The appointment-based model helps manage traffic and ensures timely exits.

REQUIREMENTS

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license in good standing
• State-specific licensing to perform all shift functions, including blood draws and vaccinations
• DEA license preferred for full-service hospital shifts
• Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance and license defense policy
• Compliance with all local, state, and federal mandates
