We have a variety of weekend and weekday hours available. You determine your rate for each relief shift. Continue practice activities outside of Vetco shifts and enjoy NO agency fees!

Our appointment-based model helps manage traffic and ensures you are out the door on time. We have trained, experienced staff to manage operations, allowing you to focus on delivering the best care and patient experience. What's the difference between Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care Hospitals?

Vetco Vaccination Clinics offer wellness exams, preventive vaccinations, medications, heartworm testing, and microchip insertion. No surgeries, emergencies, or sick visits. Staff run operations and transactions and help safely restrain pets. Clinics are located inside Petco stores. Appointments help manage traffic and ensure timely departures.

Vetco Total Care Hospitals provide preventive care, diagnostics, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. You will partner with the medical director before shifts to review case comfort levels. Hospitals feature digital records, surgical suites, ultrasound, digital and dental X-ray, AI radiograph interpretation, and on-site labs. No overnight or emergency on-call shifts. The appointment-based model helps manage traffic and ensures timely departures.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license in good standing in your state
• State-specific licensing to perform all shift functions, including blood draws and vaccinations
• DEA license in good standing is preferred for relief shifts at Vetco Total Care Hospitals
• Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance and license defense policy
• Compliance with all local, state, and federal mandates
