Difference between Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care Hospitals:

• Vetco Vaccination Clinics: wellness exams, vaccinations, medications, heartworm testing, microchips; no surgeries or emergencies; located inside Petco stores; appointment management to ensure timely service.
• Vetco Total Care Hospitals: preventive care, diagnostics, outpatient surgeries, dental procedures; equipped with advanced medical technology; partner with medical director; no overnight or emergency on-call shifts; appointment-based traffic management.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license in good standing
• State-specific licensing for all shift functions, including blood draws and vaccines
• DEA license preferred for hospital relief shifts
• Professional Liability Insurance and license defense policy
• Compliance with local, state, and federal mandates
