Difference between Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care Hospitals:

• Vetco Vaccination Clinics: Wellness exams, preventive vaccinations, medications, heartworm testing, microchips. No surgeries or emergencies. Located inside Petco stores. Appointments help manage traffic.
• Vetco Total Care Hospitals: Preventive care, diagnostics, outpatient surgeries, dental procedures. Equipped with digital records, ultrasound, X-ray, AI radiograph interpretation, on-site labs. No overnights or emergency on-call. Managed through appointments to ensure timely care.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license in good standing
• State-specific licensing for all shift functions, including blood draws and vaccinations
• DEA license preferred for full-service hospital relief shifts
• Professional Liability Insurance and license defense policy
• Compliance with local, state, and federal mandates
