Differences between Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care Hospitals

Vetco Vaccination Clinics offer wellness exams, vaccinations, medications, heartworm testing, and microchips. No surgeries or emergency visits. Located inside Petco stores with appointment management to ensure timely service.

Vetco Total Care Hospitals provide preventive care, diagnostics, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. Equipped with advanced technology and staffed by licensed professionals. No overnight or emergency on-call shifts. Managed with an appointment-based system for efficiency.

Minimum Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license in good standing
• State-specific licensing for all shift functions, including blood draws and vaccinations
• DEA license in good standing (preferred for full-service hospital shifts)
• Professional Liability Insurance and license defense policy
• Compliance with local, state, and federal mandates
