Relief shifts include preventive care, diagnostics, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. You will partner with the medical director before shifts to review case comfort levels. Hospitals are equipped with digital records, surgical suite, ultrasound, digital and dental X-ray, Vetology AI, and on-site labs. No overnights or emergency on-call.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license in good standing
• Appropriate state licensing for all shift functions
• DEA registration in good standing
• Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
• Compliance with all local, state, and federal mandates
• NC Supervising Veterinarian Agreement (provided)
