Animal Emergency & Specialty Center - Knoxville is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our Internal Medicine team. This role focuses on advanced diagnostics, high-acuity case management, and collaboration with board-certified specialists in a state-of-the-art hospital.

You will work with Internal Medicine, ER, and ICU teams to provide diagnostic support, anesthesia care, and detailed medical record documentation, while enjoying a four-day work week and no weekend

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in Tennessee or eligible for licensure.
• 2–3+ years of experience in internal medicine, emergency, or specialty practice.
• Strong technical proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, diagnostic procedures, and critical patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and support advanced diagnostic procedures (ultrasound-guided sampling, endoscopy, cystoscopy, bronchoscopy).
• Collect, process, and manage laboratory samples (blood, urine, CSF).
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized diagnostic and medical equipment.
• Provide advanced monitoring for hospitalized and critical care patients.
• Support anesthesia induction, maintenance, and recovery; administer meds and fluids.
