Animal Hospital of Dauphin County in Hershey, PA area is hiring a Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our AAHA-accredited hospital and caring team.

You will assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care, room preparation, and daily hospital tasks while ensuring compassionate treatment and clean, organized facilities. We provide training for the right candidate and opportunities to grow in a thriving practice.

Responsabilités

• Assist veterinary technicians and doctors with daily patient care and treatments.
• Restrain and handle animals safely during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms, treatment areas, and equipment for patient visits.
• Help monitor patients and provide care before and after procedures.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain examination rooms, treatment areas, kennels, and equipment.
• Assist with laundry, stocking supplies, and maintaining an organized hospital.
• Support the team with patient admissions, discharges, and other daily hospital needs.
• Communicate professionally and kindly with clients and team members.

What You'll Do
