• Be enrolled in an accredited DVM program.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must carry professional liability insurance (AVMA PLIT) for student members.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients, gather histories and perform physical examinations under supervision.
• Develop diagnostic and therapeutic plans with mentor doctor.
• Scrub into surgery and assist in management of medical cases.
• Prepare wellness care recommendations and maintain medical records (SOAPs).
