• Veterinary students in any grade can apply for an externship.
• Externships provide real-world experience by applying classroom knowledge in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with supervising veterinarian to observe and assist in clinical procedures.
• Participate in client communication, histories, and case documentation under supervision.
• Learn and practice routine and advanced veterinary tasks as available at the host practice.
