Qualifications

• Open to veterinary students who are in the clinical portion of their education.
• Externs will gain experience gathering histories, performing exams, and developing treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Gather patient histories and perform physical exams under supervision.
• Create treatment plans and assist with diagnostics and dentistry.
• Observe or participate in surgical procedures and manage medical cases.
• Improve communication with the medical team, support staff, and clients.
