Job summary

MSPCA - Angell in Waltham, MA is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our veterinary pharmacy team. This full-time 40-hour position runs Wednesday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 7:30 pm, with no major holidays.

Duties include filling prescriptions, communicating with clients about prescription needs, restocking supplies, ordering and maintaining clinic, pharmacy and office inventory, receiving orders, scanning medical records, and keeping an organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician within the state of Massachusetts required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in retail or hospital pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and communicate with clients regarding prescription needs.
• Prepare outgoing mail, restock supplies, and maintain clinic, pharmacy and office inventory.
• Receive orders, scan medical records, and keep an organized workspace.
