Job summary

VERG Brooklyn is seeking an experienced Veterinary Laboratory Technician to join our 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital. You’ll perform diagnostic testing, manage laboratory equipment, and deliver accurate, timely results for our medical teams.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of veterinary or medical lab experience, familiarity with IDEXX and Abaxis analyzers, and a detail-oriented, team-focused mindset to support urgent cases and high‑volume testing.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a veterinary or medical laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Process samples and complete diagnostic testing accurately and efficiently.
• Prioritize urgent cases and ensure rapid results for medical teams.
