Job summary
Clinton Parkway Animal Hospital in Lawrence, KS offers veterinary externships for students. Externs observe wellness appointments, diagnostic workups for sick pets, routine surgical and dentistry cases, and emergency surgeries as available. They also spend time in exam rooms with clients and attend weekly rounds with our doctor team to discuss challenging cases.
Externships last two to eight weeks, depending on schedules. All veterinary students are encouraged to participate.
