Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a multidisciplinary Supervisory Marriage and Family Therapist Program Manager to lead clinical and administrative functions at a Vet Center.

You will supervise staff, ensure evidence-based interventions, and coordinate services for veterans with readjustment needs. The role emphasizes program planning, stakeholder collaboration, and budget oversight, with telework options Ad-hoc per policy.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a COAMFTE-approved MFT degree or an equivalent licensure in a related mental health profession.
• Full, current, unrestricted MFT licensure to independently practice is required.
• Experience at the program manager level with supervision of multidisciplinary teams is expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a multidisciplinary clinical and administrative team providing readjustment counseling to veterans.
• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate professional services and treatment priorities.
• Lead recruitment processes, performance appraisals and staff development activities.
• Coordinate with external partners to improve veteran care and referrals.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling and compliance with VA policies.
