My Pet's Vet in San Antonio seeks a dedicated Vet Assistant to join our animal hospital in Wilderness Oak area. You will support veterinarians and technicians, care for patients, restrain during procedures, run lab tests, and help with x-rays and daily operations.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using multiple-line telephone systems.
• Excellent animal-handling skills.
• Ability to restrain patients during procedures.
• Ability to lift objects weighing 40 pounds.
• Strong empathy and client service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Take great care of our patients.
• Restraint of patients during procedures.
• Cleaning kennels, exam rooms and treatment tables.
• Run and set up lab tests.
• Set up and clean up before/after surgery.
• Unload inventory.
• Assists in taking digital x-rays.
• Work closely in support of our Veterinary Technicians and Doctors.
