Job summary

My Pet’s Vet in Summerville, SC is expanding with a brand‑new Animal Hospital and growth opportunities for a CSR/Vet Assistant. Join a friendly team dedicated to exceptional care for pets, their families, and our community.

You will support veterinarians, assist with exams, labs, X‑rays, and patient handling while helping to maintain a positive, client‑focused environment and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in animal care.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Ability to lift objects weighing 40 pounds or more with assistance if needed.

Responsibilities

• Take great care of our patients.
• Restraint of patients during procedures.
• Cleaning kennels, exam rooms and treatment tables.
• Run and set up lab tests.
• Set up and clean up before/after surgery.
• Unload inventory.
• Assists in taking digital x‑rays.
• Work closely in support of our Veterinary Technicians and Doctors.

My Pet’s Vet, a successful veterinary hospital, has added more services for our clients by providing them a place they feel happy and comfortable bringing their fur babies for playtime and/or overnight stays.
