Community Veterinary Partners' Burke Animal Clinic in Burke, VA is seeking a Vet Assistant to join a busy, growing practice. The clinic offers flexible shifts, competitive compensation, and opportunities for growth within the CVP network.

You will support veterinary care, assist with exams, x-rays, and client communication in a friendly, team-oriented environment. The role emphasizes reliability, initiative, and a positive, professional culture, with merit-based raises and ongoing learning

Qualifikationen

• An experienced Veterinary Assistant confident in performing SQ injections, blood draws and radiographs.
• Able to work Sunday - Tuesday + Thursday.
• Reliable, honest, communicative.

Aufgaben

• Provide hands-on support for veterinary care including restraint, vaccines, medications, exams and x-rays.
• Drawing blood, processing in-house labs, surgical prep, and nail trims.
• Assisting with client communication and entering charges accurately.
• Help maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and patient care throughout the facility.
• Mentor less-experienced team members when needed.
• Participate in team meetings, CE opportunities, and collaborative learning.
• Contribute to a positive work culture through dependability, flexibility, and humor.

• Mentor less-experienced team members when needed
• Participate in team meetings, CE opportunities, and collaborative learning
