Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) invites applications for a full-time faculty Audiologist (Instructor level) to join our nationally recognized academic medical center in downtown Charleston, SC. The role blends clinical care, teaching, and research within a physician-integrated environment.

Responsibilities include supervising Au.D. students, delivering lectures to residents, and participating in clinical research.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited institution.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A).
• South Carolina Audiology Licensure (or eligibility).
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive vestibular assessment including VNG, Rotary Chair, Posturography, VEMP, vHIT.
• Comprehensive diagnostic audiologic evaluations.
• Amplification selection, fitting, and management.
• Osseointegrated device evaluation and programming.
• Inpatient and outpatient diagnostic testing in coordination with ENT physicians.
